About Sauna Club

Heat. Cold. Community. Connection.

Sauna Club is an interactive locator for pop-up sauna clubs and community heat experiences across Western New York and beyond. Born from the belief that heat, cold, and shared ritual build genuine human connection, we map the gatherings where neighbors meet, sweat, and forge friendships around the fire.

Our platform brings together a growing calendar of pop-up sauna events, wellness pop-ups, and thermal therapy gatherings hosted by Heat Retreat and partner venues throughout the region. From wood-burning sauna sessions at local farmers markets to lakeside contrast therapy and community wellness festivals, every event on our map is curated to help you discover accessible, authentic heat experiences near you.

Who it's for: Sauna Club is for the curious, the wellness-curious, the cold-plunge brave, and the community-seeker. Whether you're a seasoned sauna enthusiast or stepping into your first sweat, our map helps you find gatherings that match your vibe — from family-friendly daytime socials to evening sessions with live music and local DJs. We welcome first-timers, regulars, and everyone in between.

Who builds it: Sauna Club is built and maintained by Heat Retreat, LLC, a Western New York-based wellness collective dedicated to making sauna culture accessible, inclusive, and community-driven. What started as a single pop-up has grown into a regional movement — and this map is our way of connecting the dots so no one misses the fire.
